That is correct ! Lots of snakes and other varmints here, but Rattlesnakes pose a threat to dogs and people.

Glad I don't have to deal with them. Looks like a lot of meat, can you throw them on the grill for a snack?  :)

Yes, one of the sawyers here eats them, and I give the rattles to sons of clients that visit. When they bite a dog ,,,it costs thousands of bucks in medical care. I have six dogs . I have a robust wild animal population on my place that I really enjoy and promote, but rattlesnakes are a problem near the house. Further away in the "wild " I practice live and let live. Rob
