Large hickory down in yard.  Man at the club says tree service quoted $2500.00 to remove

from the yard.  I told him  I would get the motley crew at the club and take care of it.  There

was 5 of us.  The average age was 68.  Myself and 3 others had over 200 years experience.  We

had fun and a box of chicken for lunch.  All saws were Stihl.

Good for y'all!

I went with a friend down to NC coast to help clean up his place not long after the storm.  There was a large oak down,big root ball and a lot of branches propping it up.  It was over 3 different fences/lots that cornered in his back yard.  Too much for us.  

While we were there cleaning up another tree. 2 companies came by and priced it.  One from Louisiana $3,800 and one from Florida $5,500.  He later had a local clean it up for $1,500 once the frenzy was passed.
