We use a very special Pig Roaster for da Pig Roast. Its a yooper built roaster that lives in yooper land. Stacy and I are heading out this morning to go get it as we always do when we need to roast an important pig. 3 hours there-3 hours back.

oooooh Yea! Man, I'm getting excited. The Loveley Miss Celest and I are going to pack up The Road King (Elvis) Wednesday evening and head out Thursday morning the 4th. So we can take a nice leasurly ride out to the Pig Roast. 8) 8) 8)

Thanks for all the extra work and the extra 'miles' you go. Suspect you will have to return that roaster on another day when you are done with it (another 3 hours out and 3 hours back).  You will put more miles on than most of us coming to the Piggy Roast, the way I 'look' at it (we are floating most of the way there and back  :) ).  Be careful driving.

Hey beenthere,

Are you taking the new high speed ferry across?  I just went over to Milwaukee a week or so ago--it's pretty slick, and fast!   8)
Y'all can pronounce it "puh-SKOLLY"

Don't suppose we are going to be roastin' a yooper piggy too?

Have a safe and enjoyable trip.  We'll be seeing you and all the other fine folk that can make it soon.

Jon,  you are taking some good raingear, right?  :D

Oh yea, we have real good rain gear. every bike trip we have ever taken we have been rained on.
The first day long trip I took Celest on it rained when we were about 2 hours away from her house, we did not have rain gear. The second time I took her our it rained on us, we did not have rain gear. She is a real trouper and has logged thousands of miles with me but the third time and ever after we don't leave home with out it ;)

Taking the Manitowoc-Ludington ferry. Taking four hours to cross, missing the Chicago area doing it this way.

Didn't check into the high speed one.

We'll soon be 'on our way'.  8)
