Greetings all

I've had this 240 Homelite saw for decades. Yesterday, the saw stopped suddenly. Upon further investigation the chain had split the end of the bar by the sprocket. Oh well, 25 years or more of service, something is bound to go wrong.

Here's my problem: I have several 72V style 60 link chains that I rotate through this saw. Any replacement bar that I can find states that a 91 type link is to be used... Can my 72v style link be used on a bar designed for 91 type links? Both are .375 pitch and .050 wide.

The original Homelite bar has these markings 16 37 080 G4 Which I cannot find much information on.

Can anyone shed some information on what I should do? Thanks

Cat
