This is a little heavy(a lot of scraping will be tiring), but works great for difficult to remove bark and mud.  Here in NC, I don't have to worry about ice  (-:

Floor Scraper at Lowes

The angle of the blade works well, as you can scrape on the draw stroke in many circumstances as well.  A few members saw it at my saw day last spring and liked it too.  Its not a magic bullet but pretty handy.  Not too expensive either.
