They aren't pretty, but dad put on a yet a 3rd old blade and fought it to get these cut. They aren't pretty, but they are a milestone for us. The Lenox blades from Menominee should be here any day now!

Just charge extra and call them rustic! ;D
Out of the few dozen logs that I've sawn there are plenty that I wouldn't take to the county fair, but they will be perfect as part of a shed for the 4-wheeler and mower.

I remember the first boards I ever made. They weren't pretty, but I sure was proud. I'm sure you are too!

I gave away a bunch of that lumber to a friend who made a woodshed. He did an excellent job with what he had to work with. I was proud then, but to see the boards now, well, I'm not so proud.

It looks like your little off bearer is either practicing, or he's carrying some of those invisible boards!

Wait 'till you get some sharp blades on that mill! smiley_thumbsup  Starting out fighting dull blades would be a challenge, for sure.  It takes a while to get a feel for the mill, blade, engine, & wood.  I think your helper needs a playhouse!

I've seen worse boards.  (Well, truth be told I've cut worse boards. ::))  And I've seen some cut by others that were much much worse!  You're doing just fine.  Wait 'til you get those new blades and see what you can do! 8)
