Hey! It's time to start planning if you have not. This morning the count down to the left says only 70 days to go. For us, that's like the day after tomorrow. :D Really, this year is going to be a challenge for the one and a third armed dude, but we'll be ready. I'll keep this first post updated as needed and link the countdown to the left under the sponsors to this thread. Nothing to really add at the moment other than its getting close! Who's planning on coming?
We're coming this year unless I get hit by a bus in the meantime. :D
Don't tell Burl but we're going to stop by his place on the way up. ;D
Oh and need me to bring anything?
Yes! Bring Patty! ;)
Disappointment for Mary and I. We've been to every roast, except one, so this will be our second miss. The reason for missing is my 50 year graduation celebration from the Michigan Technological University School of Forestry. Mary was there with me. It's located about 350 miles from the site of the pig roast. I have known for a several years that it would conflict with the pig roast, as the reunion always includes includes the 1st Saturday in August, the same as the pig roast. It's always fun to meet long time Forestry Forum members for the first time, as well as meeting long time attendees again, and again. Sorry we'll be missing Norm & Patty, and probably a number of other folks that we'd really like to have the pleasure of meeting, as the attendee list grows. The one roast that we missed was because I was at the MTU reunion with our son.
Since Ron Scott and I were in the same class in forestry school, it's pretty likely that he and Jan will be at our class reunion as well. They probably haven't missed any of the pig roasts.
I am pleased that I can still do what I am doing in life after 50 years after college (hunting, fishing, canoeing, four times a week tennis, maintaining two homes, etc.), and I am confident that Ron is as well.
So, we're sad :( not to not be able to make it this time, but happy ;D that all will gather again. We wish Lefty and Tammy well. They always do a fantastic job of making a great pig roast and making everybody feel welcome. They go all out!
Don't miss the pig roast if you can possibly make it. It's worth traveling a long ways to attend. You'll not regret it. Thanks, Jeff & Tammy for all that you do.
Norm & Mary
I've just about given up ever being able to make it, but if my rotation should happen to change I will come. Not gonna hold my breath though. :(
I think that I'll make it for the first time this year. My Mother has never been in that part of the country and made a deal with Dad to go up there this summer (she has to go to his class reunion in Texas). As an invitee I said sure, but that I'd want to treat for lunch one day. Jeff, got room at the table for a couple more? ;D
Mark
Absolutely! :)
Pat and I are planning to come, but I may need some adult supervision.
last year, we used DanG, Marcel, and Raider Bill for adult supervision

If a person was to plan for this, what city would they come into by air? And what would be the nearest town for hotel/motel rooms.
Odd number year and so many other things currently on the 'to-do' or 'go-to' lists that's it likely Kitty and I will miss this year. We are planning on being at the October Paul Bunyon & Sawmill Shootout in Cambridge OH.

Saginaw is the closest. Exactly one hour from our place. Cheaper to fly into detroit, but you have a 3 hour drive from there. Clare and Harrison are the closest for lodging. Clare is only 15 minutes, we are in Harrison. Harrison only has small mom and pop places, Clare has chain hotels and some other larger ones. Houghton lake is a half hour away. Largest inland lake in Michigan outside of the great lakes. It has many hotels as well.
Jeff do you have a list like in years past for lodging?
This will be the first time in 11 years we've taken off more than a couple of days. Patty was just a bit surprised when she opened this thread. I told her we are finally going to travel without having to be somewhere at a certain time, except Saturday of course. :)
There is one place I won't be recommending after last year and that is the lakeside motel. (https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php/topic,45352.0/all.html) I think a google search of clare or harrison should return a bunch of options, If you see something intreaging, let me know first before you contact them so I can tell you what I know about it. There are some places in Harrison that I feel are not worthy of a forum member.
You may not want to stay at the Deer Tick place either. ;D
When we got there Tammy and Stacy asked us where we were staying.
Then they said we'll find you another place and did.
We stayed uptown at the same place Burlkraft and Jill were at.
Pigman had to tell a couple fellers something but I only caught the tailend of it. :D

You aren't going to believe this. But I just did an Expedia search from Kansas City to Saginaw, and one from Kansas City to Detroit. To Saginaw is 332 dollars. Detroit is 360. That is with a stop in Detroit. And you wonder why the airlines continue to lose money.
The Lakeside Motel is a fine place to stay. I would just make sure to check every little detail of the room for any damage as you check in and make sure the management checks the room for any damage before you check out. ::)

Try flying to Grand Rapids. It is $197.
Sounds like you overdosed on pork and started busting things up when you got back to your room, eh? :D

Maybe parking the broom outside would be a good idea.... ::) ::) ;D ;D
I was certainly counting on attending my first pig roast this year. I had already done a search on lodging and air flights.
My problem is that I had to move up my total hip replacement from next year to this because the symptoms have progressed pretty rapidly. Anyway, I will be about 5 weeks post-op when the pig roast convenes, and that may be a little soon for a flight, long drive, meeting strangers I already know, and drinking a few beers. Maybe not. So I have to play it by ear this year. Sorry I can't fully commit, as I was looking forward to meeting my many friends in person.
I'm hoping you progress quickly. If not, we'll count on you for the next time. :)
unfortunately, i plan to hurt my leg by the first of august(jumping for joy over being done putting up hay for this year) and have planned to go to california to visit some very good friends while i am healing up. maybe i will be able to convince the little missus to go next year? pc
If I do make it, I am coming a day or so early to help set up and get in some Michigan fishing.
If you do make it doctorb bring the fishing pole and we'll load into the pickup and hit some local spots if we can get Jeff to point us in the right direction.
And happy birthday!
Happy B-day Doc!
Happy Birthday doctorb. :)
happy b-day doctorb. :D
Thanks guys - turning 60 is something new!
but its only new for a year then you get to try another one :D
happy b-day
ah, try 70, DocB, you will remember the good old days, when fewer things hurt.
Happy Birthday.
Happy birthday Doc. I just had one also, just a few shy of the big 60 mark though.
Well it is official. I will not be able to come and meet you guys up North. We are planning a big turn around here at work and they kind of frown on some of us not being here. Maybe next year.
Jeff, Patty is their any thing we can send to help out with? We hate that we won't make it. Ya'll have fun.
Woodchuck, I am just dang happy to be going to the picnic myself !! Jeff would be the person to ask, but I do know for sure that money is always a welcome gift. Jeff & Tammy put on a huge production for the piggy roast, and I can not even imagine what it must cost them. A donation to help pay for the piggy or for the paper plates and such would certainly be a good place to start. ;)
Happy Birthday Doc and many more smiley_clapping smiley_clapping
Thanks Patty, I did mean to say Tammy. Must be that age thing. Sorry I won't get to meet some of ya'll this year. Maybe next. CV
I didn't think turning 60 was something new. I thought it was something old old old. :D Happy birthday doc.
I put in for a couple of days off around the picnic, got my fingers crossed and the Street Glide is ready to fly! It's always 50/50 with me and work lets hope I can swing it.
Jon
We should be there this year.
Linnea and I will be in attendance.
Jeff, put me down as a "tentative". Thx.
Scott
I want to go, but sure don't want to drive that again alone. Da first ten hours are fun , but gets old real quick after that.
Anybody care to share a ride ???
You can swing by my place Marcel and pick me up. I'm about due for a nice long road trip and I am only a few miles outta your way. I am sure we can find a few fishin' holes along the way. :D
Marcel, since you'll be so close maybe you could come by for me ............
That wouldn't be far out of the way to stop and get me to. ;D
I'm holding all of you guys to this. I've been really worried about this years pig roast because of gas prices and such. I'm glad ya'll are stepping up to come. ;)
Marcel, if you are coming down to Kentucky to get Bill, it will only be another hundred miles over to get me. ;) Do you have a large van, I don't like riding on the top.
Don't worry Bob , got me an open trailer so you won't be bothered by the cold air coming out of the air conditioner of da car.
I just new a few would step up to da plate . ::) 8) :D
Since you will be this close you might as well dip your toes in the Gulf of Mexico. :D :D
I think you'll need a bus Marcel, hope you have your chaufer's license too. :D
Ya .. I got me those good ones , here its class 1 or CDL for some. Think one of those bus with a trailer might do and about two months to go and do da round up. ::)
Marcel, if you're swinging down south to pick up all those other fellows, how about swinging through North Carolina and giving me a ride?
I'll ride up in the van with you, but we can put my Harley in your trailer, and that will give some of those other fellows something to sit on during the trip. ;D
Let's see, Red Necks, Hill Billies, and Coonasses. If you are going to haul Bikers too, you better get a bigger trailer. :D :D
At least I don't need worry 'bout Bill, he don't do trailerin' to well.
I'm not inta dat trailerin' either. But If ya would swing by and pick up me and da wife's extra clothes, and some beer, I would be grateful. Dat way I wouldn't hafta load down da ole Harley as bad. ;) Da beer would hafta ride in da cab wit you, it may not survive ta trip if it rode in da trailer. :-\
You could also grab Jeff's box of bands dat Kevin wuz 'spose ta pick up when he brought me his.
If da beer is in the cab with Marcel, I am not sure I want to ride in da trailer.
Marcel, since you will be in the area, pick me up as well :D.
I am beginning to think that a bus just won't be big enough... better find a second one and start up the Forestry Forum Convoy. :D
Well since you brought up "convoy" you have a Kenworth hauling logs, a cabover Pete with a refer on (I'm guessing that would be Chet's beer :)) and a Jimmy hauling hogs, not too sure how many Jeff needs or wants too cook but everything else seems to fit. Does this mean there will be a music video?
What I would like to know, is if anybody is really coming. The countdown counter is at 47.
I plan to come unless something unexpected comes up. Jeff, you need any more cedar paneling? I can get a bunch of 4' in the Ford Edge. My youngest son Ian, mentioned he might want to come.
jeff, i will not be attending yet another year. i do plan to get up there one year though.
i am taking the family to colorado that week.

I went to click "report post to a moderator", but I realized the culprit is one!
Maybe Marcel could donate his riding buddy as a door prize.
(no pun intended)
Is it gonna be ok iff I just show up? I don't dare say anything or my schedule might change again.
Jeff-I'm coming. Let me know what I can bring or if there's anything I can do once I get there. I have many relatives less than 5 minutes from you. Look's like you're less than 80 miles from me, and I've driven a lot farther than that for a good meal.

Looking forward to it Marty. No need to bring anything unless you feel the urge. Some people bring a door prize, some bring a dish to pass, but its totally unnecessary to bring anything but yourself and family. :)

As far as rides I will most likely have a spare seat if Sparkys (Will) from Minnesota isnt going to catch a ride with Me ;)

Wow! That will be two years in a row that Australia will be represented at the pig roast!
Note to American's: "Pop the boot" translated, means "open the trunk" of the car. :D
Jeff, sorry to say I will not make it this year. I am having my right knee replaced and will not be mobile enough to come. Someone from here will be there though.
Jeff and Tammy
The Stump Jumpers would of have loved to be there this year. But we will not be able to make it.
May you all have a great time.
You will have an extra camper spot for someone who needs it.
The
Stump Jumpers
We need to start getting a count on how many people might attend. So far its looking kinda bleak looking back at this thread. Its only about a month to go and I don't have a clue this year on what the attendance might look like. I've had very few people tell me they are coming but lots of people tell me they are not. So far I don't have a single request for a camping spot.
So, lets get a count. Please update the number as you add yourself. :)
Jeff, Tammy and Stacy. Dogman Pete and Lynda,
The Number is now 5
Ill Be There and whack Me down for a camping site ;) ;D ;D ;D 8) 8)
That makes 6
I gave up numbers when I retired...
Linnea and I will be there.
I think that makes 8
Hey, Jeff, we are already ahead of the first weenie roast!
With only a month to go, I'm thinking we need to cancel the pig and get a couple chickens.
I guess I didn't reply...I'll be there, but Jill has to work.
I can't believe this is all that are comin'....
There's gotta be more.....Is the Southern Chapter gonna be represented?
It's worth the trip just for the door prizes let alone the grub and the great conversations :D :D
Definitely worth it. 8) :) But, as I replied to the Facebook page, I can't make the trip this year. ;) When that saw got factored into my trip, I got a free vacation to Roast 2010. ;)
As Arnold would say, "I'll be back".
The better half made reservations at Harrison's finest 5 star motel, so I suppose we will be there.
I think that makes 11.
Dang Steve, your number was below 10, so you didn't have to take your shoes off for your count. :(

Well I'm still hoping to go and to bring three along for the ride. Unfortunately, a family situation does not allow me to make a firm commitment at this time. I'll say a better than 50% chance though.
Mark
Lindy and I are coming. We decided to drive it instead of flying. Will be cheaper in the long run to drive when you figure in a rental car from the airport. Cheapest air I could find was $340 per head one way. By the time we drive to the closest airport we're already 2 hours toward being there. Road trip it is. Never dorve in yankee land. Ya'll do drive on the right side of the road don't you?
Pig weeds or pig roast? this is my question. We're having an outright war with herbicide-resistant pigweeds; it is a mattter of keeping the upper hand throughout the growing season else, there may be no crop! We cannot even begin to think of a vacation, we had plans to go out to the Tree Farm Conference in, I believe, New Mexico. The wife says she's taking the grandkids to Branson with or without me in August. But thank-you for the invite anyways.
Plan on coming after missing last year. 14 I think?
I plan to come , but I need to get all the reservations made to confirm.
15.
We are thinking of coming. Sorry cant say for sure yet. The big problem is that we have to take our daughter to CMU the week before and so the very next weekend we'll have to drive up to the same area. Not sure if I can leave 2 weekends in a row.
Hi Jeff, Ronda and I are planning on coming. We are going to be camping east of Grayling on Thursday through Sunday so on Saturday we will drive down to Harrison.
I am planning on driving the old woodburner up if I can get the electrical problems worked out in time, when we came up last time the generator quit working so we replaced it with a larger alternator and the old wiring cant handle it.
Looking forward to having a good time, good food and meeting you all.
Ron and Ronda L
Jeanette and I will be there. Looking forward to it!
Pat and I are planning to be there. I think the count is: 21
Just found out today that I will be going to the GovEnergy show in Cincinnati the 7th thru 10th. That means I must leave for Cincinnati on the 6th. So, we are not going to be there this year.
Sorry Steve, but no egg rolls for you this year.

Unfortunately, I will be on a detachment to Key West, FL with my USN squadron during the pig roast. However, I will follow it on the Forum. Maybe 2012 will be the year? I'll be retired then.
Mooney Kids are more than welcome. This is a family event. ;D
Great! I'm hoping that we can arrange for a babysitter, but it's sure nice to know they're welcome. ;D

Dan, I'm trying but if I show it won't be on the bike. I have a trial scheduled for the week before and the week after the roast which I have to give testimony in. I don't know when I will be called if at all but have to be available during this time. :(
Hopefully it is settled prior to Thursday before the roast.

Where's everyone staying hotel wise? More importantly who doesn't want me at their hotel. :D :D :D :D 8)
We're staying at the Comfort Inn in Haughton.
Pick-up a side car and get Fish on your way up, his good at getting air matresses pumped up by the locals up there. Then again , that may not be such a good idea, ya might have ta share accomodations... A motel does sound wiser after thought. :)
I thought the air mattress in the car under Jeff's oaks was a nice spot to. I never had an ache nor pain. ;D
The stump jumpers with their travel trailer made fine neighbors to.
The final morning I saw Fish and Raider_Bill both scrambling to get their gear packed up when that thunderstorm rolled in. Old Dang was more interested in the coffee pot. Course he had a dry van for accommodations. :D ;)
For showers, I thought $5 down the road at the campground (can't remember the name) was a good deal. Can wash clothes there to I think. Jeff can probably remember the name of the place, I told him I went down there.
Bought plane tix this morning. Now to find a hotel. I'd hate to think what it would cost to fly with camping gear per bag.
I think pigman is staying at the little acorn motel about a mile or so from the house. The bigger nicer hotels are in Clare.
The Acorn is full, after we booked. ;D There could be a later cancellation.

Piece of cake pie. Its a straight line and looks to be all downhill. :D :D
Google's estimate must be straight driving time! They claim I can make 3,587 miles in 3 days flat. However, when I was much younger and drove up from Colorado, it took 3.5 days, driving ~16 hours per day, with an average speed of ~85 mph.
Is the Alaskan highway that good that you could drive those speeds? I thought much of it was dirt.
The majority is paved now but even so, 85+ mph is much too fast to be driving. As stated, it was a long time ago and I was very immature.

You can pitch your tent anywhere you like Chris. We even have a screen house set up you could sleep in if you like. :)
I picked up the Pig Roast Icecream this past weekend and had another sampling at the store I picked it up at in the U.P. Different Flavor this year. :)
MICHIGAN BLACK BEAR—Rich red raspberry sauce and chocolate black raspberry cups swirled in homemade vanilla ice cream.
drool, drool
One huge benefit if pigroast numbers are down this year is that we all get more ice cream!! ;D
Put it on the web, again, if possible, I will either be at Noble's, or Springfield motel, but hope to see the gang.
No worries thanks Jeff :) :) and it just means All the More for Us digin_2 digin_2 digin_2 cone_1 cone_1 cone_1 cone_1 ;) :D ;D
Will do tex. I'll rig a webcam up. :)
And a group picture would be nice this year. Didn't get one last year. It doesn't have to be fancy, like the one that Terry takes. This is only our second miss. We'll be thinking of you all.
Norm
Next year my body and the wife willing and able I would like to be there to represent South America with a couple of my oldest employees . " They are young" It would be quite an experience for them to see some real lumbermen and how you all have a get together. It would be a high point in thier life.
Well with a statement like that, there will be no question in my mind that there will be a 2012 pig roast. :)
That means I gotta show then to. ;D
If I catch the China carrot we are chasing I will bring in tow a China woman and an Australian.
The Pineywoods are still a MAYBE. Won't know for sure till after aug 1. I'm only 400 miles away around through the UP or 200 via ferry across the lake.
JIm makes it tough to not go next year. All them furriners.
I hope that you are able to stay. We will arrive at Hidden Hill on the 4th.
We have been assigned site #31, will be in a Class C Coachmen, and be towing the grey Toyota Rav4 that you have seen in several of my posts.
If you were coming to Georgia, you would have to bring the umbrella :D.

Of all the stuff that I have lost during my life, I miss my mind the most. :D :D
I don't miss mine at all.
Don't mind Bill , he playes a whole different game then most of us ;D :)
Family and I can't come this year. We have a friend's wedding on the same day. Best wishes to all and have some pig for me!
Trying out a new internet system. So far so good 8) 8) Looking forward to seeing everyone :) :) The ice cream selection sounds good ;D 8) 8)
Today was Pig Roaster Testing day. Everything checked out for another year and we are ready to roll after cleaning some insects out of the burner. :)
Jeff, unfortunately I need to go from "tentative" to "won't make it". I wish you and everbody the best of fun.
Scott
Musta been the bugs in the burner Jeff. :D :D :D
;) Have a good one Scott.
SwampDonkey, you need to come as Scott's replacement. ;)

Bill, I hope so (as well as to meet and see everybody else at the P.R). Unfortuantely I had to cancel the Sturgis trip as well, so I am already thinking about doing both next year.
The second half of this year is shaping up to be incredibly busy.
I wonder what our head count is now? The last one that I saw was 36
The Logrite clan is coming with brownies. That makes the count 40!
Pulled the trigger on the plane tickets. If we haven't been counted before, there will be four total in my party. We'll travel anywhere for a free meal! :D

Out of Tampa?

Out of Tampa?
Actually, was cheaper out of Orlando. I prefer to fly out of Tampa, but with four people it was worth flying out of MCO.
Mark
Lot's say the same thing that Orlando is cheaper. See you there! 8)
I'll be there, keep the coffee going!
Sure looks like fun. Here is the bio-burner video from last summer (just ran across it on a google search). Sorry I will miss again this year. Two too many commitments.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jue4hkQBCOA
Thank you very much for that video. We watched the webcam last year but since this will be our first Roast, we were wanting to see a video. :)
Real nice video beenthere.
Thanks for posting the video it looks like a good time!!
I just watched that video again, again. smiley_thumbsup
I am looking forward to getting out of this smiley_sun smiley_sweat_drop for a while. :)
Bring a jacket. Our nightime lows are supposed to be 60 degrees and our daytime highs right around the low 80's. It should be a breath of fresh air. :)
We are sooo looking forward to it. :)
Like I told Bib, in my search for a light cotton jacket. It's not bad if your moving around, but if your sitting around story telling it can give you a little chill. ;)
Jackets are going. And us too. :)
Well it's no pig roast for me again this year. After that July 1 storm, I am surrounded by down trees. Even took one on my camper in the woods. And the MN DNR wants me to look at 10 salvage sales in the state parks and forests just to clear the campgrounds which are still closed.
So have a good time and maybe next year.
Strike me from the list again. I give up. Ya'll have fun.
Leeb next year we need to plan on getting a group of us from around this area and just go. Ive been wanting to go for a couple years now.
Im looking forward to it big time :) ;D ;D 8) Im not far away and will be there first thing in the morning ;D ;D
I forgot one thing before Chris left Duluth, MN for the pig roast. I had intended to say he respond with "ya sure ya betcha" instead of "no worries" as they say in Australia. I thought the FF members from the northern states would get a kick out of it!
I would like to be there, but I have some major work to do on a sawmill before the first of Sept.
Sparky
Everyone seems to be having a good time, things are wound down for the day. I'm on pig mode for the rest of the night. When I switch propane tanks in an hour or so, and get everything running smooth on the cooker again, I'll try to get 2 or 3 hours sleep. Smaller group then last year on a Friday evening but the food was really good. The corn especially. I'm hoping others are taking pictures. I had not even thought about it until a little while ago. I know they were taking a lot of photos of the pig cooking! :)

Good times. ;D
Have fun guys!
I'm on the 6th restart of this laptop and can't make the video feed work yet this morning. :-\
Sorry to say, I have tried everything to make this work and can't figure it out. I have to get to other things. We'll post photos when we can.
Forget about the pics Jeff, just relax and enjoy your friends. ;)
Is there a thread for this year's pig roast?
Since Jeff is on vacation and it is a bit early yet, I doubt that there is a 2012 yet. He did not start this one until the end of May last year. A search should find the pictures, etc. from last year's Roast.
Is it at his house?
Yes, in Harrison.
Ok. Now I just have to come up with enough excuses to make that big of a road trip. Oh, and enough petro-dollars, too. :-\
I spent $400 I think for 2400 miles round trip, including two hotel stays in Ottawa. Plus I brought home a free saw, so that cancelled out trip costs. ;D
I haven't checked yet but it is probably a similar distance for me, give or take a hundred miles.
Well, actually, after checking it out, it is only about a 1400 mile round trip. Not as bad as I thought. I was thinking Jeff lived in northern MI.
Can we order a Pork plate delivered? ;D

The Pig Roast is in Michigan, not Mississippi. :D
thats right mi. is north of the continental grit line. :D :D
I know one thing. I just cooked a roast of pork here this afternoon and I could have eaten the whole darn thing to. Some good. Mmm!! ;D musteat_1 Never get anything like it in any restaurant in these parts. :)
I remember another "roast of pork" that you could not get in a restaurant either. food6
I would like to attend a pig roast or a chicken crispin but 1309 miles is a bit far for me. We do a little cooking from time to time.
These are a few ribs that are about ready to come off. I cooked 196 slabs that day on two rotations. There were a bunch of folks cooking to raise money for the families of two police officers who were killed. At the end of the day, the community raised about $90,000.

A few leg quarters that are about to come off.

Some pork butts that will be ready for pulling in a few hours.

Now thats a BBQ COOKER! Mighty fine looking bbq for a fine cause. 8)
When do we get invited down to the SE chapter roast'n. ;D :)
Very nice and also a very worthy cause. I love to see a community pull together and help those that are hurting or less fortunate. :)

I'll make okra fried in grits batter! ;) We can also come up with some collard greens, paw-paws, and sweet vidalia onions. Now if you're really good we might make peach cobbler, fried chicken (without grits), cornbread with butter, gumbo, hot dogs in buns with chili on top, and boiled peanuts.
And pecan pie. Without grits.
we will be in clare the last weekend of june to bad we r not staying thet long
Had did a lad from Maine get indoctrinated in southern cook'n? ;D My grandma was a Mainer and there's just some things you can't change. Even though she lived in NB for 73 years. :D
I grew up in a mixed family, and have learned to enjoy new cultures. I ate everything they put in front of me when I visited China for 6 weeks-- after that-- the rest was easy.

I should point out that when I say a mixed family, I mean, my dad was from Oregon, and my mom was from Maine. So a culturally mixed family.
Still a mystery, as neither is near south. ;)

As I said earlier, I enjoy learning from various cultures and enjoying their food. I can find things to like about everywhere, including food.
Jeff, just made reservations at Budds Motel in Harrison for the 3rd. Hope all goes well so we can make it. bg
I'll start a new rsvp thread for this year real soon. :)
