I decided to try my hand at medical mask and since I enjoy sewing and this is a way to help out those in the medical field. But I was having trouble finding bias tape. Then I remembered my children bought me a bias tape maker about 6 years ago, so I now have all the bias tape I need as I can make it. I really just got started. But am enjoying this project.

Tammy,

My wife made a couple for a former student who is an ER nurse at our local hospital and some for our daughter who works as a child life specialist at the Levine Children's Center in Charlotte NC. She has been mostly using stock she had and I think she is using quilt batting for fill. I think it works as multiple layers of cotton cloth. She has been using elastic she had but the local nurse brought some pony tail holders to go around her ears but did not use them. Her quilting guild have been making them for fire departments and police and such. Good on you for helping.
