Looking for a recommendation for a consulting Forester...

My Dad is looking to do some more selective logging on our family farm in Essex County, New York (Adirondacks).  He was able to walk the land with the last logger/crew but now at 80, he's not able to do so :(.  I'm in NoVA so not much help either.  Can someone recommend or point me to a source for a reputable consulting Forester or NYS Forestry resource where we can get some help?  Also, any idea as to rates would be appreciated.  Thank you!
