I bought this log off of a local tree shrive, they believed it was apple. Not 100% sure what do you guys think?

Does not have a colored heart, Apple, Cherry, Plum etc normally have a colored heartwood.

Normally I would not suggest buying logs of a tree service that has to dump them, not unless Walnut or something like that.

Apple can sometime have a very unmistakable heart.  8)
