Can anybody explain the difference between a Husky 350  chainsaw and a Husqvarna 350 NASCAR edition chainsaw?

One's a chainsaw. :D

the other is a gimmick to sell product to redneck race fans. ;D

does the latter have flames on it like Jeff Gordon's car ???
just another beaver with a chainsaw &  it's never so bad that it couldn't get worse.

The things to care about on the 350 is if they have a cat (negative) or not, and if they have the 49.4 or 51.7cc (positive) engine...... :P

UH, what is a cat and how do I know if the saw has one?

Its something that when tied to another one and hung over a clothesline, it makes for much enjoyment--you'll have to listen closely to the saw to hear it.

hokiebob

Actually is a catalytic converter but my saw doesn't have one so I don't know what it looks like.

Yep, and it steals power and make the saw run hotter, even if they don't change the specs......

NO FARMERS -- NO FOOD
northern adirondak yankee farmer

redpowerd, the EPA really frowns on that.  :D He might need to come to Canada to get a non cat muffler.
old age and treachery will always overcome youth and enthusiasm

leweee

NASCAR would consider that cheating. :D

Yes, you could, or just buy a non-cat muffler....
