Been so busy that it is nice to get back just Sawing. Had an order for 10 square of red cedar shingles. Nice to saw.

Who's shigle maker do you use? I have thought about getting one. Just not sure.

I Have a Woodmizer resaw. I use it for lap siding and shingles

I bought the attachment for me boardwalk but I have only used it once. Are you cutting siding shingles or roof shingles? I could never find what length they should be either. I think I used d 24" billets. That is a nice looking stack of them you have there.

I have been asked if I could supply White Oak Shakes. NOT Shingles. Does anyone have experience in setting up  machinery to split shakes?

Isn't it just faster to split by hand with a froe? Ans an adze to finish.
