One of our Granddaughters is graduating from college/nursing school and today she got "Pinned".  For new nurses, that is a big thing so we were there.

My namesake "Lynn" before the ceremony.

Yup, she got Pinned.

Just Outstanding! 8)  as I read my daughter just called mom, off work, another 12+ hour day, so, give notice our nurses get worked out very hard, and deserve all compensation they get and more(my opinion).  I am very happy for your family Lynn, very happy,  what an outstanding accomplishment for anyone,  david , waiting for my turn on the phone,  take care,
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

Congrats to your grand daughter.
Nurses and teachers are 2 professions that just don't get the respect they deserve.

Congratulations!

My wife is my private nurse. I helped her study part time for a number of years, I know how tough it is to get that degree. In NY she would now have to take a state test to become licensed. Does your grand daughter have to do that?

Lynn took her State Board exam Thursday, and PASSED.  That was the last requirement before becoming a Registered Nurse.   :)

Good for her!  My wife is back in school to get registered as a respiratory therapist so I know how stressful that all can be, for you folks that aren't in the medical field this is a BIG accomplishment, after helping my wife study some I now know more about the urinary and reproductive systems of human beings than I ever cared to know  ;).
