Title: I'm lucky to have a Riteleg!
Post by: Jeff on August 12, 2016, 09:30:09 PM
It's a set of prototype adjustable work height work bench legs. Still in development.  I've got a set here to experiment with that Kevin brought to the pigroast. I have a 3" thick by 40" wide by 6.5' long chunk of Wisconsin Redwood on it for a top and some Northern White Cedar edged slabs for side boards.

I like the handle on each end.

There is nothing like having a "leg up" on everyone else.   8)

Those are nice!  :o

I was a little afraid of the title of the post, and thought it was going to be a chainsaw safety thread.  :-\

I guess Wisconsin redwood is new to me. . .

That looks like a handy setup. The Wisconsin redwood Intrigues me about as much as the bench.

Interesting.  Could come in real handy for a finishing table - that is, where you apply finishes to your wood projects.

Since you said it was a prototype, I saw something in your video.  As you started, you were lowering it.  It stopped a little short of what I would say is all the way down.  There appear to be some black brackets on the bottom of the table top that didn't quite get down on to the legs.  I would think in the fully down position, you would want it to rest on the legs for more stability and strength.  Just my 2 cents.  Like the redwood!
