Took advice from several of you.  5w30 synthetic oil in the engine for the winter.  electric magnetic heater and harbor freight blanket over the hydraulic tank.  Plugged in the heater 20 minutes before trying to start.  At 25 F it started good.

trapper,works for me too. As I say,starts up like it's the 4th of July!!
I also cover the hood of my tractor when I plug it in.Wife's tractor the fuel tank is right in front of the steering wheel. Helps keeps the fuel warm.
On my tractor the fuel tank is behind the seat.
