Traditional Timber Frame Repairs Workshop

A workshop is being held this summer at the Hancock Shaker Village  Click here for link to main site which will teach "Timber Frame Repair Strategies" 'for a nineteenth century Shaker Sawmill' building.
The instructors are Jack Sobon and Dave Carlon.

I have spoken to Jack Sobon about this course, and he informed me that each student will create a repair joint drawing for a selected repair, as well as layout and cut the joint.
The class is limited to 12 students.
I signed up for this class, should be interesting.
