Went to start the donkey the other day and nothing. Master turned on, oil light on, but push button switch wasn't activating solenoid for starter. Replaced button and it works here and there. Maybe the original was fine... only way to reliably start her now is to jump the starter. Any ideas?

Does it have a clutch switch on it or a park switch depending on power shift or synchro shift. Sounds like you don't have a good connection. Does yours have a key switch before the push button.

Mine did the same thing, turned out to be the wire from the button to the solenoid.

snowstorm

there is a neutral start switich. if its still hooked up, use the horn button

It's intermittent for sure. Just tried it today and it engaged starter (machine in same place an wouldn't work yesterday)
The whole wire replaced to solenoid or just fixed connections?
