Our local news last night, had video of a bunch of Penguins out on frozen Lake Superior in Marquette.   :o  Sad ta say they looked right at home.  :D  A closer look showed they were painted plywood cutouts placed by one of da locals.
Maybe member Pasbuild can git a pic of dem for us.

Folks, I must apologize.  I sent a semi load of cedar poles to Peoria Il for a zoo to hold the penguins.  This was last year or the year before, I don't remember.  They must have escaped.
I am in the pink when sawing cedar.

They are decoys to attract the real penguins when they fly over.

I don't think so. Penguins can't fly. They take the bus.

You didn't watch the Madagascar movies did ya ?  :D
Having young kids they are on high rotation.  ::)

We have penguins in NZ, and areas around Wellington they even nest under people houses. Street signs say "Watch for Penguins" etc

Looks like the area has just qualified as penguin habitat.

Might be the equivalent of introducing fossil bone chips on a earth moving project.  :o :)
