i bought this winch in the early 2000s. i need to get a new cable. i called different dealers and they say they can get me a 160 foot one. i know the original was alot longer. anyone ever run into this. thanks tony

I had a V4000, bought it new in '00. It came with 165 feet of cable. I wouldn't recommend buying cable from Fransgard. I have a New V6500 and have broke two new cables from Fransgard. Finally bought cable through the local Logging store in Brewer,Maine.
