Tom

Ok everybody.

The biography is back.  Y'all gotta go sign in right now.

Don't waste any time.   Hurry!!

I already did it.  ;D

It's neat and will allow you to tell us a little about yourself
and you can do a little bragging too.  Got a good Job?  Got a pretty wife
or girlfriend ........ or boyfriend.   :)

How about your hobbies, job, business, sawmill, political ambitions.

What have you done to justify your existance on the third rock?  :D

Been in the service?   What did you do?

Where was school?

Do you peer through a proctoscope or milk cows?

This is the place to put it.   It's on your profile.

click "profile" at the top of this page and it will take you
to your profile.  Then click on "forum profile information"
on the left side of the page.

Down at the bottom  of your profile you will find a box
labeled "Autobiography"

Fill the box in just like you would make a post.  The forum
tools all work just like posting.  You don't have to know HTML
or any of that special stuff.  You can put pictures from your
gallery in there and make italics and use smiley's and all
that typical ForestryForum member nonsense.  :D

Come on now!   Lets all be friends, say hello and introduce
ourselves.  It's a place for you to talk about your mill or your
car or your ingrown toenail.

Tell us of your successes.  Brag a little bit.  ;D 8)

You can even change it if you want.

be sure you click on "Change Profile" after you right it.

pigman

I started to fill out my bio like Tom sugested and brag about what I am and what I have done. Then I realised that all the older members know I stretch the truth sometimes and the newer members would soon find that out, so I just told the truth. ;D
Things turn out best for people who make the best of how things turn out.

Tom

That was good, Pigman!

Now, after recess, we will sing "Old McDonald had a Farm"
and maybe have some cookies.

"if you have'em, eat'em".  :D :D

Boy!   It's a good thing you didn't waver from the truth too far.  :P :D

maple flats

Thanks Tom, I just did mine. Now all can see why I am so messed up, but happy 8)
logging small time for years but just learning how,  2012 36 HP Mahindra tractor, 3point log arch, 8000# class excavator, lifts 2500# and sets logs on mill precisely where needed, Woodland Mills HM130Max , maple syrup a hobby that consumes my time. looking to learn blacksmithing.

Tom

Go ye therefore and multiply........ :-\
no!  That's not right.

Uh.....   go tell everybody else to do it too.   :D

Frank, and everyone else. I spent most of the day trying to figure out how to do what I wanted with this. Had a lump of code that didnt want to cooporate. Finally got it.  You can use any code in the biography that you use in a post, so you can link to your websites, you can make pictures and smilies appear, and things like that.  I have started mine. So far I was born. :D

Hobbies and Interests

Interests revolve around my partners love of sawmills! - Hence being his NUMBER ONE OFFLOADER - Myself - I like the smell of sawdust. If I had my choice I would have BIG MACHINERY - who wouldn't want their own combine harvester and an 18 wheeler (Scania)

LIL

Just a query?
Any chance of getting the gender icon back?  May not be a big deal for others.  Sometimes I find it useful when following threads.  I read alot on here although I dont often post.

Jeff I think you have made a great start.  Hey! guys, this forum is addictive.  Although I saw a log, my main thing is machine work.  Before I found this forum I'd get up, get my coffee about 04:00 in the morning, go to the office. There I'd to The Practical Machinist Forum.  Due to you guys, I come here.   thanks.

Well gollie Jeff, If you made the box bigger I will have to ad to my bio. Like I finished in the top ten of my graduating class. Of course we only had ten in my eighth grade graduating class. 8)

Tom

You're as much a gentleman as General Custer.

I hear he allowed the rest of his class to leave first  too.

Jeff

I just added a never before seen photo before tonight to the first part of my bio that Tammy found and scanned in for me.  :)
