I am in the process of building a home around my mill (WM LT40 SH).  It is sitting on a concrete slab, and I will be changing the portable to permanent stabilizers.

I have read here on the forum regarding using a vacuum system for sawdust collection.  My question is how much space do I need between to mill and the wall to allow for the tubing to swing easily?  I would like to move the mill to its final location and balance it before I set up the vacuum system.  But, I don't want to waste space either.

Thanks

I would leave at least enough room to comfortably walk around that side of the mill. You might also want to have enough room to blow the dust on the floor should your vac system be on  the fritz.
