I haven't had to get blades sharpened yet, but will need to in the near future.  The saw came with slim crates for blades, about 2.5" x 30" x 30". Anyone know what ups charges to ship something like this (Mid-MI to Indy)?  Not exactly sure of weight; maybe 45 lbs?

No clue, but all the major shipping companies have a shipping calculator on their sites, with fields for you to enter box dimensions, weight, and zip code, for exact pricing...

Some of the places that sell blades will throw in "free shipping" if you order 3 or more boxes of blades!

How many blades do you have?  If 10, they will fit in an 18X18 cube box from UPS or U Haul.  If you are sending them to Wood-Mizer, call them for a shipping label.  They will explain the procedure.

15 blades in that, about 28 pounds.  Guessing $15 for the postage.

28 lbs UPS to a major company in an adjoining state (say 300 miles), approx $18 shipped from a business.  More if you take it to a UPS store for shipping.

The cube will only hold 10 blades.  For 15 blades it is 18X18X27.

$17 from Hannibal to my place 50 miles away.
Cant drive it for that amount.
This is for a flat pack of 15 blades.

It might be cheaper for you to send em to hannibal, ny for resharp instead of indy.
