Can you identify this tree?

Can anyone identify this beautiful tree in SW Florida  near Myakka River. It does not appear to grow to a large size, the largest I have seen is 25-30 feet.  The small gree nut/fruit is very hard.

The nuts seem to indicate a tree is related to the hickory tree. A couple of people have said they think it is a hickory. But the leaves do not match any hickory tree I have been able to find. 

This could be some type of hybrid tree.

Solved! This is a carrotwood tree. It is native to Australia. It also grows in Florida and is considered an invasive species.
