Anyone know where I can find a service manual for a Case 401 Diesel?

   Try the want adds at yesterdats tractors,not much help,but it's my best guess.

Allready looked there.  $112.00  :o would like to pay much less if I can.  All I really need is head bolt torque specs. and valve lash.

   The service dept. at your local Case IH dealer should have that info

Get on the discussion forum at Yesterdays and ask what you wnat to know.  I bet somebody will fill you in.  The other thing you can do is visit your local Case dealer and ask someone in the service dept.  Most of the dealers I've dealt with are more than willing to help you out.  Maybe you can get a hold of a I and T shop manual.  I picked up one for my John Deere and I think I paided around $25.
