Well dad blame dang it.  I must have missed the whole thing.  It was after everything turned Yooper one time that got me to really wanting to join this Forum!  Everybody was a taking it so well and even though I couldn't understand even half of it that I wanted to join up with a place where everybody was a having so much fun!

I tried to do some research in the archives about girdling but gave up in frustration at not being able to make sense of some posts.   :-\

I think sometimes people forget this is a community of like minded folks and friends. Once in a while the masses need to be woken up to that fact. I think many newer members see this website as just an information source. Well, thats O.K. but its much more then that and thats what makes the Forestry Forum different and also what has caused it to grow. I refuse to abandon the things we have done since our beginnings when there was just me and another guy called myself. That was day one and probably through day 101. :D

I'll admit, everything I do will not be the smartest thing, or even the most popular thing, but I still gotta think we have done a few things right along the way.

Always thought that somebody born and raised in N'awlins oughta have a chat with a Maine coast fisherman.   Two Americans, not likely to understand a word each other's sayin.   ;)

We Canadians have French and English (ok, and a host of First Nation and other 'unofficial languages'), but at least you can learn them in school! I don't think there is any translation book going from Maine to New Orleans :D :D :D
