is passing quickly...My next door neighbor is 97 years old and lost his 98 year old wife of 69 years last week, I just found out about it...She was sure a peach...they lived in our house for the first forty years of their marriage, and he still gets out and takes care of his garden every day, all by himself...they have farmed the land all around us for 3/4 of a century,
and belong to the generation that kept our world from sliding into darkness.

Y'know, some smart guy once said that the best school is a log with and old guy on one end and a young'un on the other....

It's a sad thing, but a fact of life is the passing of our elders!

I always said to my kids, "always respect your elders, they're the only ones you'll ever have"!

Another fact of life is "WE" are becoming the elders now!
