High temp silicone

Replacing the flue cover gasket on the heatmor.....what brand of high temp silicone everyone use and where do you get it?

Don't recall what the brand was when I did the door, just remember I got everything at the Central Boiler dealer, lol.

 I think the last time I bought some it was Rutland brand.

side note Ed, what model Heatmor do you have?

I'll have to look....been there so long I don't recall. 

Been a good unit, few pumps & blowers, thats it.

Ok... it's Nu-flex 302.

 

I had completely forgot just how putrid this stuff is. One wants to use it outdoors. Don't throw any rags/towels away inside either....

I actually just bought some over the weekend and it is in fact Rutland brand, it's what my local ACE hardware store carries.  It has a 500 degree rating.

That Nuflex silicone is good stuff.. you're right on the smell.
