Billbob did they ship from Montreal  or the US. Was taking with a sales man last night  out of Ont. Sending out a couple samples . He told me they were shipped from Missouri I thought he said.   But I did get a quote today from Montreal  at $15 .47  plus tax and shipping.

The dealer, Kasco Canada, is in Montreal.  They are supplied by the factory in Missouri.  What size blade did you order?

Sample bands are normally sent from the US.  Kasco Canada orders are sent from the nearest Kasco distributer.
Those of us in Ontario get to deal with Honig, and they are a pleasure to deal with, can't beat the free shipping either!

Lonely Sawer

Hey all. I spoke to a rep from Kasco in Missouri and he told me that the material for the bands is US steel sent to Mexico to be processed into bands and then the rolls are sent to distributors. The distributor in my area(30 miles away)then cuts and welds to length per your need. I'm expecting an e-mail from them to give me a quote. I will be taking a drive for sure. My saw will need blades at some time. So less money and local, plus the sharpen too. Can't get no better than that.

Most likely for Ontario only, but I would contact them, for $75 shipping from Montreal to anywhere in NS is outrageous, unless your ordering 80+ bands.

I wont get ahold of a rep till monday, but their online store seems to only have the 144" x 1.25 x 1.1 pitch available in the 10 degree, no 7s or 4s.  That wont be a deal breaker though, I think the 10s will be my most unversal choice.  I was kinda hoping to mix and match some 10s and 7s in an order 15 bands.  I'm looking at the same cost + shipping as Billbob mentioned.

I can't figure out why they are charging you $75 for shipping.  Two weeks ago I had 15 blades shipped to me in New Brunswick for $32.  168" blades aren't going to weigh a whole lot more than 144" blades.

When you call Kasco on Monday ask for Eric in sales.  That's who I dealt with

That was $75 for 15 blades. maybe it was only 10. Still waiting for the samples to arrive.  Guess they not be coming as its been 3 weeks.

It does take awhile for the delivery.  I don't think that they keep them in stock in Montreal and have to have them shipped from the States to the Canada office then to you.  It took about 3 weeks for mine to get to me.

Was that the Lennox blades from Honig or the Woodmaxx?  I had purchased some Lennox blades from Honig .  The charged me $23.40 per blade + $25 shipping.  That's why I went with the Woodmaxx.  Got them for $13.50 per blade + $32 shipping.  May take longer for delivery but definitely worth the wait (financially)

I haven't even had a chance to try mine yet!  I've been too busy logging in the woodlot to stockpile logs.  Today will be the last day for that as my logging road is thawing out and will be muddy by tomorrow.  So no more skidding on that for awhile.
