Bit of good PR for some local loggers. 

Falcon eggs escape unscathed after forestry workers swoop in to save the day | Stuff.co.nz

The NZ falcon is an endangered bird, that conservationists are trying to save. 

The parent bird had been raised in captivity and then released. So that part was successful enough, and the bird was able to survive and breed in the wild. So chances are they can do the same again for her eggs.

Ironic thing is that plantation forestry makes the ideal environment for these birds, with the alternating areas of trees and clear land. So it's their best possible environment to survive in.
