A friend of mine 'discovered' today that a connecting rod tried to escape the confines of the 4219T on his '76 440b.

Any recommendations on who to call for replacement parts?
Either a complete engine, or block and probably crank?
Preferably in or around New England.
Thanks

PB & H in new hampshire are the go to guys for deer engine parts at least in my area. Give them a call nice guys. Did a motor for a neighbor of mine out of a 440. They probably have the parts for you, I know they can get new blocks.

You could also try RCS diesel in mass that's where I got my detroit rebuilt though I don't know if they sell engine parts as well.

I always used my local Deere dealer for parts, except hoses.
