I currently have a briggs motor with a side out put shaft on the splitter.
I am wanting to put a different motor on it with a horizontal shaft (bottom)
Would moving the pump to this position work I think it would because nothing is gravity
But not knowing alot about hydraulics I thought I would ask someone who knows before
I put a bunch of work into it
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks CAZ

A hydraulic pump will work in any position, but one word of caution, when you fabricate the pump mount, ensure the pump drive is aligned exactly to the engine shaft if you want reliable splitting.  And the re-working of the plumbing configuration is probably an obvious factor!
Sense is not common
