Ez boardwalk wheels

Have yet to buy a mill still doing all my research just had a question about the wheels on the EZ boardwalk. Are they all steel with a v groove or do they have rubber belts on the wheels? Not a lot of info on web page about them they look like well made sawmills though. Any updated info on the mill good or bad would be much help. Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forestry Forum towboat88. All-steel wheels would have a crown machined on to the rim. Wheels that use v-belts have, of course, a v-groove in the rim. EZ Boardwalk mills use a v-belt.

My Ezboardwalk model 40 has all metal wheels, no v belt at all.

I like it a lot. Does what I wanted it for really well. A bit of work without hydraulics but there's lots of thought and ideas built into it. Simple to maintain and fix if needed which is a big plus for me.

I was speaking of the carriage wheels, misunderstanding on my part. The band wheels do use v belts. Sorry my brain wasn't in gear I guess. :
