HI
Started my build this week. Question is how much travel does the blade tensioner need? My design will use 13'2" bands on 20" wheels and was thinking that 2" of travel should be plenty any feed back will be appreciated. I will post some pics later of what I have so far.

  2" should work but why not make it 3 or 4.  I think my Tk has around 4".   Steve

I have 12" ... That lets me use different size blades.
Collector and builder of many things.
Love machine shop work
and Wood work shop work
And now a saw mill work

Hi,my old TH has about 2 inch band tension travel ,so my band length needs to be dead on-think-it would be better if i had 3 or 4 in.....
