Maple burgers

I like my Maple burgers.  You mix maple syrup in with ground beef and make patties. You kinda have to go by eye with this. I've never been able to come up with a fixed amount to mix in. It seems as if the amount a syrup depend how much fat and water is in the beef. Leaner is better. They will burn pretty quick on the grill. If you ever made syrup you know what I 'am talking about.. I'd start with a half cup to a pound and go from there.

Every morning for as long as I can remember my dad has fried a hamburger and ate it with a pancake for breakfast, that's probably where I got my taste for a hamburger patty with syrup on it.  Never tried cooking one with the syrup in it though, thanks for the idea.

I watched a little of Man vs Food. I think he was in Hawaii? The place had a burger than added thin shaved teriyaki steak,onions,cheese and an egg. Now that sounds good.
