Title: anyone with a Lucas
Post by: xlogger on August 05, 2015, 07:41:57 AM
I'd like to see one running if anyone in my area would let me come and watch. Been thinking about getting one. Want to watch the slabber not swing mill.

That wouldn't be any fun  ;).

Now, you will need another solar kiln for the slabs from that Lucas slabber that you are going to buy.

Not sure on that yet but if I did you are correct. Thinking about it already. I wish I could find a band mill that would cut maybe near 3 1/2 ft wide so I would not loose so much from the chainsaw blades and in the price of the Lucas.

Forum member @GAmillworker (https://forestryforum.com/board/index.php?action=profile;u=14656) has a wide band mill like you are referring to.
