Due to some recent high winds, we lost another nice ERC. This will make the fourth on in the past three years. The others were all cut up and burned. This one is out of sight behind the tank dam, so I think it will be just fine until I get a mill. If my calculations are correct and business stays at the level it is now, I should have enough saved by May for the mill I want to purchase. Who knows? This might be a good candidate to mill first.

I apologize for the poor picture quality. It was late when I got home.

Because the tree has been snapped off you might loose a bit of wood to splits that extend up into the first log, but there should still be a lot of decent wood in that tree. Cedar logs last for a good while, especially if kept off the ground, so you should be OK with that.

Thanks, Ian. Now I wish I would have tried to save the others. Hind sight is always 20/20.
