Is any one using the new blades that Woodmizer is offering. HTey have wider tooth space and I think they will be the way I go with the cutting that I do here in TN. Just haven't replaced blades yet.
I run a 70 with oak and poplar my main focus

P.A. RESHARP

Hello, I work for woodmizer at the p.a. branch doing resharp. And i have a lot of people trying these blades, and every one that tries them, love them. Hope this helped you out.

Last time I checked they did not offer them for 1 1/4 bands.

Sounds real interesting though. I know that if I use 3/4 pitch blades they are a lot slower(feed rate) than 7/8 pitch.

Was told that I did not did not have enough HP to handle them. >:(. You would think that a band mill would be like a circle mill, lower hp=less teeth, same as a skip tooth saw chain.

Guess I will have to wait til somebody else will let me try a longer pitch.

HUMS MILL

I have tried one of these blades. GREAT BLADE CUTS FAST & FLAT. Sawed some old pine with it & red oak . Worked great on both. Was told need at least 40 hp for it to work good.
