I had some time so i attacked for at least the forth time my 3305 winch, had low oil pressure.
At the third attempt i changed the brass seal in the pump (look like googles) of course the rubber seal around them are obsolete, still low oil pressure.
Today attacked the valve, took the 4 small brass seats and gently moved them over a 400grit sandpaper(wet) layed over a piece of straight glass in a 8 figure movement until they showed new shiny brass color. Put all together with new spring washers and o rings and voila: Winch brings 1000psi again.    ;D ;D
Maybe this helps somebody

Great post,  similar to the pumps and motors i repair,  I am always looking for an internal leaks on valve faces.

Until i figured that out!! ::) ???

Its incredible, that valve measured 250psi before the fix and with just a little bit of touching those brass seats, and i did take almost nothing from them, maybe 0.02mm. and now it brings 1000psi ??? ???
