Im attending Paul Smiths College and im taking the forest mensuration program and have been cruising timber different ways and doing write-up's on them. I was thinking about starting a formula thread on here to help out others in the same situation such as standard deviation, CI, sampling error, and others that are commonly used. Any input would be great!

Those formula are usually provided in texts such as Husch, Miller, and Beers "Forest Mensuration" and "Forestry Handbook" and is further worked on in more advanced courses such as biostatistical analysis. A lot that will be forgotten with time.  :D :D

I recommend getting REALLY good with a Relaskop.  That makes a lot of formulae extraneous.
