Good morning all. I was leafing through an old woodworking mag. that I found and I found this web site for Belt sander drag racing. I could easily see how this developed, I'm sure we all,at least once plugged in our sanders and had it fly off the table. Anyway this is a serious association, with international competions. check it out it is quite entertaining. I would love to go and see a competition, or start one my self. Look it up at www.beltsanderracing.com... Do you find people who sniff sawdust all day have greater imaginations than others. Have a good week everybody, Time to plow snow again...Burlman

I think there was a link over in the chainsaw forum under saw raceing last summer that led to the beltsander races.

I think the fine sawdust the woodworkers breathe has warped their minds. :D
I eat a high-fiber diet.  Lots of sawdust!

I'm waiting for the dodge hemi commercial for the guy to pull up draging his woodmizer behind him. Hey Arki, when ya getting a hemi in that flatbed? :D
Just call me the midget doctor.

Here is the thread link.  It wasn't as long ago as I thought; last summer.
