Has anyone with the dust concern getting into the carb on a 362 gotten any answers from Stihl on a fix?

If the filter or pre filter doesn't snap down tight, replace it. If the little teats on the filter get the least bit buggered the pre filter won't seat right. It will work just fine, but takes a little more attention.
Another option would be to trade up to a C-M, or modify to the spin on filter.

Got my answer from Stihl. After 2 attempts of my dealer to correct the problem, Stihl decided to give me a brand new MS362 C-M. Thank you Stihl for standing behind your product.
