What system produces a better cutting edge. Just wondering and would like to hear from people who own and use both of these.  I've seen several videos, and see how both of these are set-up/work. I don't care if one mounts to the bar, and the other mounts to a table/bench.
I'm only concerned on which one will produce a better cutting edge. I'll only be using Stihl RS chain.
I can get the FG2 for about the same price as the Timberline with 2 carbide cutters.

I've searched to see if anyone has done a side by side comparison. No luck.

I think what ever you buy will have a learning curve , just stick with it long enough to make it work properly .

I know you didn't list it, but the grandberg file n joint that clamps on the the bar is a good one.... I have one I use to sure up my angles sometimes... It can make your chain shaper than factory easily once you get the hang of it... Also brand new it's $30....plus I think it helps muscle memory, so it's easier to learn to free-hand sharpen your chain...
