Down the rabbit hole again, seems every phone call I make, opens up a new door to a recommended upgrade.  It was suggested I add a hydraulic accumulator to the tensioning system on the mill.  I think I have a good understanding of what they do and the gains it would add, but not sure if a) its worth it and b) where it would go?  I *think* it would go between the pump and the valve?

There are calculations to do based on piston size to do, so size the accumulator and determine new pressure, but wanted to get y'alls insight.

yes, it should go between the pump and a valve or solenoid. it will also act as a spring, so to speak, for any surges that happen with the movement of the band during operations.
