I stumbled onto this new clip about the Pelletier family in Millinocket, Maine and how their fame from the Discovery show is helping the town during tough times. The attached news clip states filiming is underway for a second season of American Loggers on Discovery.

I know this is kinda off the topic, but Eldon gave me a call the other day. They might hire me to run delimber. I should know in a couple days.

You gonna be famous!!! If they get in the woods instead of the road anyway.

Regardless, a job is a job. At your age it will be a learning experience, make the most of it.

I agree a paying gig is probably better than being famous.   ;D
Looks like a good place to work on the surface at least.

You will have to clue us in if you get a feature though....
One of the those name stickers with
"hello my name is Maineloggerkid" ought to suffice.   :D :D

Its only a 50/50 shot right now. They want someone more experienced, but if they cant find someone, I'm the fallback.

Maineloggerkid,   What about starting out in the restaurant and then moving into the woods when they have an opening. Just kidding, I hope it works out for you. I don't know the Pelletiers but people I know that know them have nothing but good things to say. I had a chance in May to talk to Rudy & Eldon at the logging expo in Bangor and all I can say is they were sincerely nice. We are planning a trip up to the restaurant for breakfast some weekend, but we have to leave a midnight to make it there for 6:00AM. Good Luck!
