I live in Oklahoma and have three huge burls I want to harvest. Can anyone give me a good idea as how to go about doing this? I don't want to trash them and would really like to work them into some nice furniture pieces.

Thanks, Brian thompson

I suggested that Brian post here, so all you burl people need to speak up and help him so that I can retain some honor  :).

Welcome Brian Thompson, to the Forestry Forum.  I want to know the answer also.  The ones that I see are mostly on Box Elders, but the trees are only 6"-8" diameter.
