Wont have to worry about working this spring now!! Got a call from someone with a strong accent that I have won the publishers clearing house sweepstakes!! 800,000 dollars! All I need to do is send 499.99 dollars to this address by western union to cover delivery and protection of my winnings!! Wish I had not told him where to go. Now I aint getting no winnings ;D

Wow.  $500 and you get $800,000?  You made a big mistake when you let that one go...  ;)
It bothers me that the scammers are still trying.  Apparently enough people are still falling for it that it's still lucrative.  It also bothers me when I see the older generation falling for some of this type of scam.  They look so innocent and vulnerable it makes you feel bad for them.  They also act very nice in the interviews.  But the fact remains - they fell for this type of scam because they were greedy!  End of story!
Now, these very same older people have fallen for the scam that somebody will call them up pretending to be a grandson or granddaughter in trouble.  Now these older folks are trying to help, which isn't greedy or selfish, and are taken by the scam.  In this situation I feel very bad for them.
