Cut a couple loads on this Christmas day

  Getting low on firewood and the forecast is looking cold. Cut some dry and green to make the wood rack look a little better.

That's how my woods looked last year at this time. I was able to collect firewood off from the ground up until mid January. Than the snow came. I have about 8-12 inches on the ground.

Broke a weld on my splitter I built.

  Done a little welding and got all this split.

Nice wood, we have snow here and severe cold weather! No wood cutting for now.
Well now you can re enforce the splitter.

Got the splitter welded back after I broke it. Split all that wood in the above pic after fixing it. I cut a big dead red oak yesterday.
