PIve just picked up a cheap second hand chainsaw, model no as in the title.
The engine runs beautifully but the drive sprocket is absolutely shot.
Does anyone know where I might be able to get a new sprocket (& I'll need a new chain too!). Or another model that has the same sprocket?
It's a 3/8 chain, 6 tooth sprocket. Centre spindle is 7.8mm, internal diameter of clutch surface is 62mm.
I'm in the UK.
I don't recognize that model number. What is the brand?
Is the saw like a newer 33cc Poulan?
Sprocket looks like Poulan except above is ribbed. Is it a normal 2 shoe clutch?
Maybe this is close:
Poulan / Husqvarna part number: 530057905
Sprocket Kit is for a 3/8" Low Profile, 6 TOOTH System
SPECIFICATIONS:
3/8" Chain Pitch
6 Tooth Drum
Outside Diameter 66MM
Drum inside diameter is 64mm
Drum Inside Depth is 15mm
Bearing inside diameter is 8mm
That sounds about the right size, thank you very much.
Is there a table somewhere that shows a list of part numbers with these dimensions for each? I've looked everywhere!
Also do you please have a Husqvarna model number or two that this fits, as that would make it easier for me to find a pattern part.
I've never seen a table with part dimensions - maybe one exists, tho.
This is Husqvarna part # 530057905. (Husqvarna owns Poulan).
Some USA online sellers list the models a part will fit. This 530057905 only lists newer 40cc and smaller Poulans.
Maybe you can take the sprocket to a Husqvarna dealer and try to match.
Post a pic of the saw.
Could you please point me at the list of husky saws that 530057905 fits?
Thanks.
As I stated above....This 530057905 only lists newer 40cc and smaller Poulans.
This site shows the saws it fits:
