John Deere 2010 Tractor
« on: February 08, 2018, 08:01:23 PM »
I understand and agree to the terms of selling items on the FF :)

I don't know the year because the serial # plate is gone.  It was long gone when we got it in 2004 or 05. It's an early one because it has a cartridge oil filter.  Later models have a spin on.  I was always going to check the engine serial # for the year but never did.  The hours are original at 3013.  The tach and hour meter do work.  Gas gauge works sometimes.  Bad ground?  Lights don't work but are all there.  I think the switch is bad.  Hydraulics and three point work good as does the power steering.  Shifting linkage has the typical wear of this vintage.  It'll pop out of a couple gears if you don't get it just right.  Needs bushings or something in the linkage.  Not a transmission issue.  Park works.  Rollamatic front end with new tires with one new rim and one used one.  Old tires and rims were 14" and no longer available.  It's got 15s now.  Back tires are matched and I'm quite sure are original but are in pretty good shape.  No rust through on the fenders.  Straight sheet metal.  Petronix electronic ignition.  Valve job wouldn't hurt it any.  It needs its carb cleaned now I'm sure.  I'll get it out, make sure it's running good get more pictures once the weather moderates a bit.  Twelve for a high today.

It's not listed anywhere else and won't be until I get it out and have it running.  I haven't set a price yet either.  Make an offer if you're serious.
The battery's up on it but I'm not going to try to start it until it's warmer.  Tractor is original.  It's never been repainted.  No top link.

Nice Deere. I have had a 720, 2155,2355,2950. How much if you get it running. Need a dedicated wood splitter tractor. Light small scale haying also, sickle bar NH451.
In two days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.

Like this?  Great match for a 2010 :)  I'm thinking around the $3,000.00 mark.  I haven't had time to get it out.  Maybe next week :-\

The way I figure it, the prices 8 and 9N fords bring that would be a steal, quite a bit more tractor as far as I am concerned. I do prefer the wide frontends though.
Old LT40HD, old log truck, old MM forklift, and several huskies.

I used it to run a New Holland BR 730 round baler and a New Holland 488 conditioner.  It is a nice tractor :) :)  Just doesn't fit my operation anymore.
Back tires have never had fluid in them 8) 8)

I would have snatched it up a few years ago when I needed a doner engine for my 2010 Dozer. Worked out ok, as I was able to find it's larger rare HA165G sister engine.  8)

I put a new set of spark plugs in it and she runs good.  I've got it listed for $4,000.00 on Craigslist and Yesterday's Tractors.

Just because I've got it listed elsewhere for 4 thousand doesn't mean I won't take less.  I mentioned the $3,000.00 neighborhood earlier.  I'd like a bit more than that ;) ;D  Make an offer see where it goes.  It's a nice tractor.  I hope somebody buys it before I get some crazy idea and decide to keep it.
