Pine Sawyer Beetle
« on: September 01, 2018, 12:24:05 PM »
On an unrelated search, I ran across a picture of Pine Sawyer beetle larvae. I thought, "Hey, I've seen that before!". Where I saw it though wasn't in a conifer. I've seen them in maple and in oak. Is That the same thing, or something else?

Makes sense. They're ugly little critters. Would have been interesting to see what they turned into, but not interesting enough to exert effort raising a worm to adulthood  :^D
